4 · Wenn die Unterseite trocken ist, kannst Du die Oberseite mit Leim bestreichen und mit besonders schönen Stoffresten bekleben. Du kannst Dir auch ein Muster überlegen oder das Tablett zusätzlich mit Borten oder Spitzen schmücken… Jetzt noch einmal gut trocknen lassen und wer mag macht noch einen Schutzlack drüber, dann kann das Tablett auch mal feucht abgewischt werden.
Sollte sich das Tablett wölben, kannst Du es über Nacht mit einem schweren Buch oder einem Ziegelstein beschweren, so wird es wieder eben.

Should the tray bulge, you can flatten it overnight with a heavy book or brick .

4 · Ahora elija unas telas bonitas para la parte superior de la bandeja. Puedes añadir otra formas a lo rectangulos para crear un dibujo especial. Como toque final puedes adornar con restos de encaje o trenza… Deja secar bien un vez mas. Y si quieres ponle un barníz transparente al agua para que se puede limpiar facilmente.
En caso de que se doble la bandeja puedes aplanalo durante unas horas con un peso, por ejemplo un libro o un ladrillo.

Mit Leim und Stoffresten beklebt werden auch grössere Kartons ziemlich stabil. Einige unserer Umzugskartons habe ich so in kunterbunte Materialkisten verwandelt!

Larger boxes covered with glue and fabric get fairly stable. I did this with some of our moving boxes and now we have really nice and colourful storage boxes!
